Wow, that's pretty extreme IMO. Especially on the neck. But oh well, to each their own I guess.

yeah can see it but talking to him over the years has lessened my view of him to the point where unless someone has concrete proof of any wrong doing then we have to regard him as one of the best conditioning coaches in the sport

perfect example is this

JCC Jr. vs Duddy- JCC Jr looks the best he had been period, Ariza has him for a full camp.

JCC Jr vs. lesser opponent Lyell- looks like crap, Ariza only has him for 2-3 weeks.

I would like to see Ariza take on someone like Maidana, and give him a chance to show a sortof before and after. If Maidanas conditioning improved drastically after working with Ariza, it might show that his skills are recognizable, neccessary and truly elite. Another one I would be very interested in seeing what Ariza could do with is JM Marquez (although I know Ariza would never train Pacs rival). I would love to know if, given the proper tools to move up in weight and to do it correctly, if JMM could become viable at a higher weight (I know this is a touchy subject for a lot of people).

Are all the fighters that Alex trains also with Freddie Roach? If so, I could see where some people would think Ariza is riding on Freddies coat tails. I think training a guy like Maidana (and where Freddie is not the trainer) could be a good measuring stick for how good Ariza really is.
