well, he can obviously box...if I am to pick out somethin to fix? He definitely has his chin a little too high up in the air...especially when he throws combinations...and every time he throws a strong left he raises his right arm (elbow) too high...the best fighters will exploit those two things...show me more??Hey iceman I talked to you a while back by email about a boxer I was working with to get to the olympics.

still with the chin...but he's good...he can fight, definitely...sometimes he probably gets over anxious and leans in too far when he goes after the guy...I like how he went to the body a lot in that video...seems like guys with his frame are often really good body punchers, they get more snap into the left hook to the body than the shorter, less rangier guys do...also, if I was coaching him I would try to get him to find the solar plexus shot more than the sides all the time...guys get used to blocking side body shots and they take them better unless they land perfectly (like when Micky Ward dropped guys)...he should switch it up, take a step over on an angle and get the BELLY BUTTON...he'll hurt a lot more people with that one shot and its more instant pain than the average side (rib) shots...Last edited by ICEMAN JOHN SCULLY; 02-11-2011, 02:55 PM.Comment
