If Morales wins...man there's gonna be something WRONG with his brain. They put Khan through a medical after the fight in December. I think this is a dangerous fight and Morales is probably watching Lights Out or something.

Maidana does need a better trainer though. I'd like to see someone big step in and beef up his game. He's raw talent just begging to be shaped.

Yeah Diaz is just a good cut man who used to be a boxer not a world class trainer that can lidt Maidana to the next level he can make.

He gets an elite trainer he becomes an elite fighter in months.

He has the basic tools to be a great pressure figher.

Would lmao if he hired Ariza to condition him.

I was thinking the same thing with the bolded.... I would love to see Maidana get with a world class conditioning coach to see if he could improve in that aspect. Hiring Ariza would be interesting to see if he really is worth all that he claims to be, and not just the average conditioning coach that some claim him to be.

I don't follow his Twitter account, but he always sounds very cool, calm and collected in "written" communications. I suspect he has a very good PR person, because when he's "in person", he seems to be very rough and sometimes quite unlikeable. Why should he need to "touch gloves" during a fight and be nice?? They're there to fight, not to become friends. Personally I hate that ****, like when Pacquiao and Clottey touched up gloves every time they came out for a round and damn near every time they hit each other (this is also my fear for Pac/Mosely fight, I don't want to see them being that frickin friendly during the fight). Forget that nonsense, it's a fight, not a sparring session - they can save that crap for after the fights over IMO. And Maidana did the right thing in trying to hit Khan after that, that's what he's there for. Secondly, Maidana was rightfully pissed off after the Khan fight - not because he lost, but because one of the judges score cards was unreasonbly too wide for the fight that had just occured. To his credit, he did come back and interview, no he wasn't happy, but I believe he explained that was why he was so pissed. After the fight, Khan went to Maidanas locker room and they took pictures together with Khans arm over Marcos and they were smiling. I think that was the appropriate time to be "nice".

Number 1...Marquez is older than Morales.
Number 2...Morales didn't duck Marquez, he was just to busy with the PACQUIAO and Barrera Trilogies. He'd rather take those bigger names cuz Marquez wasn't the name he is right now.

maidana should be ashamed,if he wanted to get back to a title shot,a proper title shot,he needed to fight another conteder,like alexander.

hes now facing a faded legend who is not natural at this weight.

marquez messed up he should have taken the fight if it was so easy for him to win,.it was a dumb move for him to walk away from the fight because now he is not going to make that kind of money and he won't get a shot at pac,and then pac is too much much for him anyway.morales is a better fighter than him, marquez is shot guys face it.
