I could see him landing one of those horrible uppercut-come-hook thing throws. But then again, Abraham has no counter-punching ability at least not at this level.

Ward cant afford to be siting inside trying to headbutt n elbow aa like he has done his last 2/3 fights. best wy for ward to win is to box n outside n use good movement

I'm judging from the responses that he shouldn't at all fight in the state of Calil, huh?

It doesn't matter where they fight,Abraham is getting outclassed just like Kessler.Keep in mind that Andre Ward has only had 23 professional fights and contrast that to the others in the tournament at the same point in their careers.

Arthur Abraham had his first 24 fights in Germany before having 1 fight in Switzerland. At this point,it is hard to be critical of Ward when Abraham was doing the same crap.

Carl Froch had his first 24 fights with only one trip to the States against a no-hoper,Mikkel Kessler spent his first 35 fights in Denmark with only one break in the States against an over-matched opponent,etc...

The consistency here is,if you are the champion, you choose where the fight is-most want it is in their own backyard.

It should also be noted that just because it is in California doesn't mean it will be a pro-Ward crowd. That is mainly in Oakland. In fact,Abraham will most likely have more fans in Southern California than Ward since there is a decent sized Armenian population there.

            Araham - Finland, USA, Germany

            Ward - USA, USA, USA

I understand what you are saying, but the fact also remains that Ward's total 23 fights have been at home just as the European's first several fights have been at home. Some even more than Ward. After watching the Dirrell/Froch home cooking,it is hard to blame Ward anyways.

To have this fight in California makes good sense from the point of view that California will have a pro Abraham crowd and maybe a small contingent of Ward fans.If Ward wanted to be a prick,he could have had it in Oakland where there would be a loud mob of Ward fans and Abraham would more than likely have none...not to mention he has no claim to ask for a hometown fight since he has gotten outclassed in his last 2 fights and had to get a psychologist! He is a one trick pony anyways and without his Ottke judges,he will actually have to take a body shot!

This is BS! This is'nt no Super 6. The whole tourny has revolved around Ward. The tourny was only put on so they could walk the American Gold medalist through. This clown is not worth all this backing. Nobody can actually justify this.

Yes, abaraham has has to absorb body punches in his last two bouts, he aint been allowed to have his trunks up next to his ears haha.

hopefuly it will be a well attended event and we get to see a good fight

After Abraham's last 2 forms of humiliation,I wouldn't be surprised to see him get frustrated and get another DQ or quit all together! As it stands,he was so mentally screwed that his coach made him seek a psychologist.

Throughout the beginning of the tournament they tried to make this a USA against Europe event-it was evident in the scoring of a few fights as well. What happened to "Europe is gonna stomp America"? That all changed when they used Kessler as Ward's breakthrough fight.
