Will Malignaggi Become A Two Weight Champion?

Malignaggi has already been a 140lb world champion with the IBF, He said the he hopes to win a world title at 147lbs, I dont know how Malignaggi who has ZERO power will be able to fight Pacquaio, Berto, Mosley, Margarito, Cotto etc.

He might be able to beat the eurobum champions in Jan Zaveck or Vyacheslav Senchenko who is trained by Roach. Jan Zaveck is a weak champion who is holding the same belt once held by Felix Trinidad the IBF welterweight title. Senchenko is trained by Roach as mentioned and Malignaggi also trains at wildcard.

No way Maliganggi goes for the WBO title because its Pacquaios title and he would need to leave the wildcard and Pacman would kill him anyway.

Maybe if he can make 135. Welter is not really open to anybody with no power. I think the belt holders like Zaveck would rather wait to poke their head into a bigger fight. Paulie has kinda lost his luster for bringing big money.

Paulie is one of my favorite fighters, but his lack of power will hold him back. Even with his boxing skills, nobody will respect his power at 147 and walk through his punches the way khan did.

to be honest im not sure. obviously he would never beat pacquiao. i dont think he could beat berto either, even tho i dont think berto is any good! but the other two champions iv never seen them fight to be honest. maybe he could beat one of those two?

Paulie isn't even really a 1 weight champion.

He fought for a paper title just to land the hatton fight.

I think there is also a vacant title out there he could get a shot at.
