Rick Reeno's double-scoop has certainly set up an interesting scenario for British boxing fans. As reported earlier, David Coldwell has won the right to stage James DeGale's British super-middleweight title defence against London rival George Groves. Coldwell, Hayemaker's Head of Boxing, tabled a £400,000 bid, Adam Booth, also of Hayemaker, put in a £325,000 offer, Frank Warren, who promotes DeGale, came in third with a £320,000 purse.

DeGale fighting Sartisan would be an interesting fight and would give us some idea of how far DeGale can go.

All you need to know is Adam Booth promote/manages Groves (one of or both) to know this fight wont happen. Such a shame.

Warren may be an ******* but he'd make this fight in a heartbeat and this is coming from a Groves fan chaps.

Warren really doesn't like to lose, its his way or the highway. This is the second time in many months where he lost the bid and suddenly is his fighter has a new opportunity in fighting "someone else".

Did this when Hennessy Sports won the bid to stage Barker Vs Macklin, and now Groves vs Degale.

What a sore loser, its pathetic
