    Which championship was more legit

Manny dominating Margarito at 150 for the 154 belt

    Or

Oscar Dela Hoya getting a gift vs Sturm for his 160 belt.

I don't even know how Manny and Margarito got that chance to fight for the belt. Margarito shouldn't even be in position to fight for the belt. Manny had no business fighting for it because he couldn't even break the 148lbs limit ( although there's no minimum limit). Manny only took the shot because it was there, the WBC offered to them.

Oscar vs Strum on the other hand was more of a championship fight but we all know he didn't win that fight. He didn't deserved that 160 belt for his six weight division.

mate the alphabets will do whatever the **** they want as long as there is profit to be made
but the championship manny won is legit, the only thing u can frown upon is that the title was vacant and the catchweight
margarito was ranked 2 in the wbc list which sounds absurd but more absurd is that the n1 spot belonged to chavez jr who couldnt even make the weight anymore
and pacquiao never fighting at the weight is never an obstacle for the sanctioning bodies
a bunch of fighters come to mind that got a title shot without even fighting at the weight before of the top of my head:
mayweather darchinyan donaire reveco narvaez kameda calderon santos mate if i make some research i bet i can find over 50

Oscar was in the real title fight not Manny. So their is no real comparison really because only one of those was a real championship fight.

If you want to talk about Oscar's gift decision then thats another thing.

Your way off. His talking about the boxing fans perspective. Ofcourse techniqually both those fights were governed as title fights, but just because its being brought officially doesn't mean out side of the politics we fans could see its BS.

Oscar's win was bull****, but he put the title on the line in his next fight, so by default it makes his championship more legit.

Neither were for real titles, neither Sturm nor Oscar get credit from me for being at champ at 160 then or now and neither does Pac at 154.
