Will Mayweather now fight at 154lbs to avoid Pacquiao?

Now that Manny has said he will vacate his light-middleweight title and effectively said that he won't fight at light-middle again, would Floyd now campaign at light-middle so the fight with Pacquiao can never happen?

Pacquiao gave up 17lbs of weight in the ring against Margarito and this was at a catchweight. Giving away that much weight is dangerous risk to Pacquiao's health.

Manny is effectively a lightweight still, he can still make that weight, he planning to go for Berto's title or maybe go back down to light-welter or even lightweight for a title.

Mayweather knows Pacquiao won't compete at light-middle anymore so Mayweather can easily avoid Pacquiao by competing at light-middle now.

what a sad and poorly thought out thread...it makes 0 sense and was really pointless..floyd would never out weight manny by more than 5-10 pounds no matter what weight they fight at

So *******, what you're telling me here is that Manny is capable of making lightweight (135) again and plans on potentially fighting for titles there, but then said he wouldn't take a third fight with Marquez at anything less than 140? Interesting

Pacquiao goes to Showtime, Mayweather comes out a week later saying that he will stay with HBO.

Now Pacquiao says he will not fight at light-middle again, it will not surprise me in the slightest that Mayweather will come out and say that he going to fight at light-middle or try and get Pacquiao to fight him at light-middle.

Lets see what happens, and lets see who is right and wrong.

Why the need for schoolyard taunts, how old are you?

Pacquiao will very much likely fight Marquez again, maybe this year and if a title is on the line at 140lbs thats where it will take place.

Mayweather has put barrier after barrier to stop this fight from happening, he will follow this trend and fight at light-middle if he ever fights again.

Just remember this thread, when he does.
