    Promoter Kalle Sauerland, of Sauerland Event, stated in a recent interview that his company is still moving forward with their plan to stage a cruiserweight version of the Super Six tournament. According to the German promoter, the details are coming closer to a finalization, however, some very important issues have to be established, including the exact participants.

      Hopefully the first round can include Steve Cunningham vs. Marco Huck. This way a RING champ can be crowned right off the bat. Be nice if we got some coverage of this in the U.S. (say, on ESPN3.com).

            Am a little surprised at this to be honest. The original Super Six must have been more popular than I thought. But they'll need to write firm clauses into the contracts this time, punishing pull outs or delays, avoiding repeated hometown fights etc. That crap nearly killed the first one.
