If Juanma's camp becomes a weight loss program instead of training mostly for the fight he might gas up in the fight. Salido sticks around and stays active in a fight and can cause a lot of problems in the end. He better not take Salido lightly

If the rumours about his family problems are true, he could make this fight for himself tougher than it has to be.
Salido has not been knocked out for 11 years (very early in his career) and if it goes the distance and Juanma has conditioning problems due to weight issues, we've already seen what can happen towards the end of the Mtagwa-fight...

            thats exactly what i'm saying!!

All these boxing EXPERTS on here (lol) always bashing on Juanmafor taking "easy" fights (lol)

Salido is a very tough opponent, people dont realize that this guy KO'd Mtagwa and made Gamboa pretty much look ****** even though he lost....

Haters will continue to get exposed....

Yea but that's not good, that amount to cut in that time can be bad for a fighter. Remember, when you are a pro, losing even 10lbs is much harder than someone like me or you losing it because they are all muscle.

That's something most people don't understand about boxing, they think 5lbs is not that big a difference, it is when you cut to 4% body fat.

Salido is not a top fighter but if a fighter doesn't train properly for him they are going to get beat. Same thing for Ishe Smith, if you don't train for him he will beat you

You are 100% right. Some ppl don't realize this and think that a couple of pounds in a catch weight fight doesn't matter let alone not able to make weight if the body is maturing or simply not enough time to train.

It is a fighters professional responsibility even when not fighting continue to monitor their diet and weight

Juanma has to be in the 150's, thats why the criticised Wilfredo Gomez a lot too, cuz he would get in the 150's between training camps and then had to make 122...

Its all the bacalaitos and alcapurrias on the island, they have tons of fat, but too damn good to resist...
