Andrade has been a Super Middleweight for the majority of his career, I think he's been there for his whole career. He's never fought at a lower weight division than 168.

I agree Dawson vs Diaconu is much better plus it will be 2 African Americans vs 2 Canadians and it would great to see the Americans go 2-0 in Canada, then come back to the U.S. and fight each other. But I rather see Hopkins retire on top as the WBC champ and Dawson fights Pascal for the vacant WBC title that Hopkins vacates[if all this happens].

want Andrade to beat Dawson, but likely he loses wide UD
        It was a close fight.

I was more suprised that all 3 judges seemed to echo that sentiment.

        I had B-hop up by a point.

Can you really call 2 of the judges reading it as a draw a Robbery at that point? Considering how wild some judges will judge. (The Benoist scorecard from Martinez-Williams 1, is a good example, so is the 97-93 from the Jones-Soto Karass fight.)

Andrade or Diaconu have styles that suit Dawson, even though they'll be in the fight till the end. It'll be interesting to see what Dawson has learned under Steward.

                Confused

It amazes me that a 45 year old is more active than some of the 20 and 30 year old boxers. Athletes (especially boxers) need to know that you should fight 2 or 3 times per year. No one is asking you to fight for peanuts but you can't make a million plus every time you fight if you aren't a top 5 boxer (yes, top 5 not 10). What ever happened to batting singles and doubles until you can hit a home run. Get some name recognition. Mike Tyson did it once by fighting 15 times in one year. George Foreman even said that the tv networks have ruined boxing. Back in the day Gamboa and Lopez would have fought a year ago and Khan would be fighting Bradley next. Look at Chad Dawson, he hasn't fought but once in over a year +. This inactivity and tv bs is why these athletes finances are in such a disarray. By the time Chad Dawson gets a fight his money is spoken for (living expenses don't stop) while when 46 y.o. Bhop gets in the ring in May he has banked two checks in six months. SMH

I think Hops will beat this fight mentally first. Pascal thought he would fight better than he did. Since he didn't it appeared Hopkins conqured him mentally. I expect Hopkins will run this fight.

Pascal gets anxious every time I see him. If he doesn't get tight and tentative I think he can beat Hopkins this time. It'll be a tough call for me, Hopkins will be in this man's head but father time gets us all. Was that last fight Hopkins last hoorah?

Just as I wrote this I changed my mind. I think hop has one more execution in him. I think Pascal might have a little panic attack and get stopped.

Dawson will look good against an aggressive fighter, but I really would like to see him dissect his opponents more aggressively. He has the skill to break down any fighter at that weight. All that being said I thought cloud should get that fight. A mini tourney. Winners could fight............unless it's Chad and hop, we know that won't happen

Good one. Dawson beats Andrade and faces the winner of Hopkins-Pascal.
Shame for Tarvoris Cloud though, he should definitely be in the mix...
