well segal was pushing 50 and vsn damme was pushing 40 if both were at 25 i would take segal he really did do akido. i dont know what van damme does besides splits and split kicks lol.

Segal is such a ****ing tossbag. He's got this ridiculous buddhist trip going which is so pathetically fake. No genuine buddhist puts on this fake zen act of pretending to think 'nothing' about a question as if the future and outcome of said event is ordained to happen however it happens and nothing he thinks will change it. What a ****face.

Anyway, none of those moves Silva got shown would be used by him in the cage. Ever. They are all too static and based on very specific moves that don't occur. No one is going to throw a jab and wait like he showed. A right counter over a jab is the fastest thing you can possible do against a jab apart from block it. Pushing his arm down and then stepping in and chopping with the right hand as Segal showed without taking a massive right hand in return ain't going to work. It was just a TV thing for the cameras and for Segal's own ego, which he doesn't even realise is off the charts.
