Man! it is a rule for this kind of questions? always the older boxer beat the younger ones like Hagler will beat Hopkins and Robinson will beat them both,Sugar ray leonard will beat DLH,Ali woul beat Lewis and Hearns will...Are the 80's boxers better than the 90's? are the 50's boxers better than those of the 80's?

Hearn would stay outside of Tito's punching range and box him well. He would touch his nose a couple of times with his right hand and then land a right cross early in the fifth round. Tito would wobble and back into the ropes and get caught again and take a knee and get up at the count of eight. Tito gets agressive and land a couple of good punches that seem to get the hitmans attention. Between rounds Emanuel Sterwart instructs Tommy not to get careless and slug it out with Trinidad. After this Trinidad cannot get inside of Tommy's defense without taking a stinging right cross for his trouble. By round 10 Tito would have to give Tommy more pressure because he is behind on points and goes down for a second time from another thunderous right. In the 12th round things heat up Tommy tries to box his way to an easy decision victory and Trinidad goes for broke and finally corners the hitman and exchange with Tito getting the best of it and finally seems to hurt Tommy. Tommy lands a right again and both fighters are hurt and then a crushing Tito left catches Tommy right on the temple and he falls hard on matt. He barely makes on his feet by the count of 9. He tries to get on his bicycle and escape the round but gets caught again but he smartly takes a knee and he gets up just as the bell rings to end the fight. Tommy Hearns wins this by UD but had to hold on for his life for the last round.

IT WOULD PROBABLY BE A TOSS UP IN VEGAS, BUT I'VE GIVE THE MOTOR CITY COBRA A SLIGHT ADVANTAGE. GOOD FANTASY MATCHUP!!!!

im not in total belief that old school fighers always beat new school. i personally believe lennox, evander, tyson etc all in their primes could give hell to heavyweights in ANY era. however, 80s welterweights were just in a league of their own. leonard, hearns, benitez, duran etc etc the guys from the 90s dont even touch them imo. all 4 of these guys would abuse the 90s welters, oscar, tito, quartey, whitaker. their skill level was just that much higher, fight tapes and analysis dont lie. hearns would turn sweat pea into his ******ed step child.
