    paul mccloskey (overview)

    (good points)

    total fights 22
    wins 22
    wins by ko 12
    losses 0
    draws 0

paul mccloskey is a brawler throws big punches and has good hand speed and undefeated, he seems to have a good chin and has not bin knocked down in the pro game, don't know if he has in the ABA game, but has a good amatuer fight record

    (bad points)

he has got a weak defence if any, he leaves his hands down, and the worst habbit of all is he leaves his chin up, so allthough he has never been knocked down/ko'd has he really bin up against top quality opposition?

short night for me, mccloskey stopped inside 5

anyone agree? if not leave predictions/opinions and join the discussion

He's not a brawler at all, he tries to be slick thus the reason he keeps his hands low and uses his reflexes as defense. He's looked good against European opposition but Khan's hand speed is going to be too much for McCloskey to avoid and he'll tag the Irishman all night.

Never seen McCloskey in trouble so don't know how he'd cope with it, but I don't expect it to get past 7 if it's a fully motivated Khan.

on paper mccloskey looks good thats because he is underfeated , and thats why golden boy have agreed the fight, but ive watched mccloskey he doesn't look like he is gonna cause any trouble for amir, hasn't been in with anyone with a credible world ranked fighter, its like they say you don't fight on paper

His hand speed is minimal not fast. If he had atleast that then I could give him a pass. If Khan is agressive it ends in 3. He has no reason to be on his bike because McCloskey cant ****.

I don't see it being an early night for a couple of reasons.

                1: Mcloskey is tough
2: Mcloskey is a 31 year old man, i expect him to fight sensible
3: I doubt Khan will be at 100% on the night, probably more like 80%

I predict a ref stoppage around the 10th-11th round in favour of khan
