i agree,i have always thought since he was/is too small,like 5 foot,he shouldn't have to trade,but it's different to box and run,he runs a lot,holds too,you can be a good counter puncher and have good defense without all that running,but yeah most of the guys he faced in the past were always bigger,so this loss shouldn't have anything to do with size,i just think all that non stop punching and especially to the body is what made calderon give up,let's see what he does differently to keep segura off of him,i think he'll have to be in very,very good condition to stay away from him for the entire 12 rounds because we know segura will be on him from round one and for calderon to keep him off of him he'll be constantly moving for the entire fight,all 3 minutes,thats hard

Calderon needs to stay off the ropes, keep moving, and keep punching.

But just as important, he needs to somehow make Segura pay for his mistakes.

Power has never been a prerequisite to winning a boxing match, but as you pointed out, you must have enough power to stop your opponent from walking through your punches.
