if that's true, then ariza's firing was most likely due to his rift with miguel diaz (who is close to manny and freddie).

I thought the original report said that Freddie insisted Khan get a new conditioning coach AFTER khan fired Ariza...it's common sense that he'd need a new one after he fired his old one. Now people are gonna say Roach instigated the whole thing??

Nothing wrong with that if Roach did say it. It would be pretty hard for them to work together after what happened between Ariza and Khan's team and Roach wouldn't want any problems while he was preparing Khan for his next fight.

The way I took it is that he was saying Freddie is insisting that he replace Ariza now that he is gone as opposed to going without out a strength coach. I don't think he is saying Freddie insisted that he fire Ariza. I could be wrong though.
