What's all this talk about Dawson vs Cloud? Are they in talks or something, or this just a fight you guys want to see?

This is going against the super six that night too. I'm just glad this fight is happening. This fight did pretty good ratings on showtime, so it should be solid for HBO. I hope they put Cloud-Dawson on the same night. That'd be tight.

Just a fight we want to see tbh. If Dawson ain't fighting Pascal he should take a fight with Cloud. Not only would it be an awesome fight but it would also keep Chad active, who is probably one of the least active fighters in a while. Dawsons career is sad imo.

HBO should make a 4 man lightheavyweight tournament. Winners of the first round go on to fight each other for all the glory, and the losers fight each other for 3rd place.

I don't know why people say the Pascal-Hopkins rematch is gonna be more intriguing than the fight with Froch and Johnson. I'm glad the rematch is happening so Hopkins can get a chance to get revenge, but there is the theatre of the unknown with Froch and Johnson where as we've already seen Hopkins and Pascal fight. I'll watch both fights regardless.

As far as where this leaves Dawson, I think he should fight Erdei myself since Zsolt just called him out. In my mind, he'd be a tougher fight than Cloud and he draws a good crowd. I'd be okay with a Dawson-Cloud fight too though. I just think Dawson needs to prove his worth against a good opponent before getting a title shot. I do want Hopkins to fight him eventually to shut everybody up about how Hopkins avoided him.
