He was the smallest of the 4.Considering his size,he may have been the best.

But on the topic,I picked don't know. That's like asking me what I'd prefer a 2012 camaro z28 or a corvette z06 for free.

Duran, fabulous record at lightweight, stepped up to welter and beat SRL.

SRL only beat a 70% Duran in the rematch where Duran blew up to over 200lbs in those 6 months.

SRL then failed to give Duran a rubber match till they were both old men.

        Duran for me

I'm surprised that so many have picked SRL.

Maybe because some of his well known fights at welter and above his lightweight career gets over looked.

His lightweight reign is more impressive than Hagler's middleweight reign, just by itself.

              How?

How does him being the smallest improve his resume?

He got starched by Hearns, dominated twice by Leonard and shut out by Hagler. How's he the best?

Never seen the Hagler fight ?, hardly a shut out..
Dominated twice ?, the 2nd fight was even until Duran walked out, if anything Duran 'dominated' (if we have to use the word) Leonard in the 1st fight and the 3rd just an embarrassment which should not of happened.

I've seen the Hagler fight, B. I watched it 3 days. Ago it was a shut-out. Hagler won near every round and it seemed like he was almost sparring at times.

SRL was humiliating him in the second fight. Duran cried after the fight. It was so bad he got locked up in Panama.

I find it increasingly hard to respond to the reading impaired sometimes. But let me say again,he MAY have been the best.See??May,not that he was.I like how U casually forgot to mention who it was that gave SRL his 1st professional loss.U might wanna go look that up though.
