No JRambo, it just shows that you never liked Roy. Problem with haters is it blinds them to give credit where its due. He just came off getting ko'd by Tarver, four months later, he didnt fight well. Johnson is a roughneck, a tough customer and a fine champion. Losing to Glen Johnson leaves no bad credit to me. Ali lost to Leon Spinks in Spinks 8th pro fight. Nothing you say has any relevance whatsoever. Your just a hater. HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY!Comment

Before I joined this forum I used to think Jones was one of the best ever and the more I read into things and understand facts the less and less I think of him as time goes on.
He did have a solid run at 175 and the Toney win was probably the best of his career.
Its disheartening how many excuses he made about weight when even though he won but didn't look great against Tarver the 1st time.
I am not going to get into it but I have on several occasions busted this "he lost 20lbs of muscle myth" as a reason why he lost the rematch.Comment

he had wins over Barkley, Williams, Thorton and Littles though.
those were really good wins right there, not to mention his accomplishments at 160lbs.
the other top guys were Benn, Eubank and Nun...one of those he already had a win over, and I dont see how Eubank or Benn should have been higher than Toney at the time.Comment

Thats prolly ture but if resume is the biggest part like everybody says then Floyd trumps him easy. The inconsistency is insane with posters here. Because still Roy is a top 10 Atg on some list and GOAT at middle weight on many lists. What is it fellas resume, eye test, belts, tall tales or just hate for certain fighters?Comment
