What is everybody talking about in here

This is going to be a very tough fight, It might be a little bit to technical for the occasional boxing fan. Really though, this fight is going to be amazing. Sergei is a outstanding technical boxer. Pirog is great as well, so I can see the arguments on this page but really Sergei is a tough tough opponent. Respect to Sergio for taking this fight, I promise this fight will be closer then the Kelly Pavlik and certainly closer (haha) then the Paul Williams fight. I can't wait to watch it. Sergei is not as active as I'd like him to be, but from what I've seen of him, he has one of the best Jabs I've ever seen. Sticks to the game plan as well.

I think a lot of people have built him up into something he's not. I don't want to take anything away from him though. He's a fantastic fighter and I'll be cheering him on. But I don't think he's the fighter a lot of others seem to think he is.
That always happens when someone gets a one-punch KO in an early round against good opposition. I remember when Don Curry knocked out Milton McCrory in two rounds, and he was instantly elevated to P4P #1 and was considered to be the second coming. Two fights later he was easily beaten by Lloyd Honeyghan, and was never really considered an elite fighter again.

When a fighter finally makes it to elite level at the age of 35, it's very su****ious. It's not as if he hadn't had any chances before - he had. His performance against Cintron wasn't great, and he was stopped by a non-cheating Margarito way back in 2000. He looked good in both fights against Williams, but styles make fights. I am sure he is being over-rated by most people. This fight won't be at all easy for him, though I think he'll win; and if he ever steps up and fights Sturm, I would consider that to be a pick 'em fight.

I think Dzinziruk has one of the best jabs in the business and he's a master of sapce.

I think it's a very hard fight for Martinez.

He does and it will offset Sergio who because of that jab will have a hard time landing not to mention Sergiy's unwillingness to trade at all.

Thanks, never had a convo with jaws but Top Rank's not so bad. He doesn't normally throw red k my way even though we disagree majority of the time.

Anyway good looking out. I wasn't aiming to bash Pac but to compare Martinez's upcoming fight to Pac's latest fights. I was just saying I hope Martinez gets all the "over hype" too.

Martinez if he looks good beating this guy will have a promising year as the fight to follow will cause some real hype or at least I would think so.
