He has a tight guard, excellent jab and decent footwork. Problem is he doesn't have much power and rarely throws his left. I actually like his chances against Martinez better than they were against Williams, but I still see him getting outworked.

Essentially, that was my point; it's just going to look like an eyesore, which won't sit well with the average fan.

A lot of people seem to forget the very recent problems Martinez had with Pavlik in the middle rounds.

He was being picked apart and far too easily. It was only until he landed that strong left and put more pressure on did he close up the later rounds.

I think a lot of people have built him up into something he's not. I don't want to take anything away from him though. He's a fantastic fighter and I'll be cheering him on. But I don't think he's the fighter a lot of others seem to think he is.

I sometimes question HBO to the fullest. Pirog-Martinez would've been a better and more exciting fight. I guess I can understand how Martinez doesn't want to fight a guy who got a gift belt that was rightfully his. He shouldn't have to pay extra sanctioning fees to unify the division. But I still want to see this fight dammit. Dzinziruk is a snoozer.

The simple adjustment that Martinez made was that instead of throwing the 1-2/ moving, he would 1-2/1-2 then move, clear as daylight to see man. I don't remember a strong left hand changing anything.

He throws the left when he needs to. I think his left will surprise people in this fight. But I still see maravella winning a close decision.
