Proof Wlad's ultimatum was all fluff and bluff.

Yes because unification fights are given priority over Mandatories.
No News from Povetkin but an article mentioned that Sauerland want Povetkin to challenge for a title this year. Haye's contract with them finishes in his next fight so they will probably wanting Povetkin to fight Haye.Does Povetkin even want the fight for certain? He has been fighting soft opponents lately and avoided Wlad for 2 years.Comment

Yeah because Haye is choosing to take a mandatory fight on May 21st when he could just fight Wlad in July.Comment

2 of the fastest and most powerful heavyweights that just happen to be chinny, have suspect stamina, and not really like each other = **** fight... Really?who cares?
even if they did fight, it will probably be a **** fight anyway, wlad will be there.
anyways, this fight could have happened by now if both sides really wanted it. i dont think booth wants it, and i dont think wlad wants it.
the whole division is a joke. have you seen the state of that solis who is challenging for a world title? he is just a fat bastard and about 3 foot tall.
the heavyweight division sucks massive dong.Comment

There are 3 separate ways Haye can get f%cked by accepting the July 2nd date.
1. Ring Rust If Haye skips his May 21st mandatory and waits until July 2nd, he will have had 8 months inactivity. 8 months since spending 3 rounds with Harrison...
2. Ring Bust If Haye accepts the May 21st mandatory he will be fighting Wlad only 6 weeks after that...
3. Ring f%cked If Haye waits until July 2nd only to have Wlad pull out, Haye is in danger of being stripped. Which could be Wlads sick plan all along.Comment

1 doesnt make any sense cos thats what he was supposedly planning on doing anyway and he wanted Wlad to do the same. There are 3 separate ways Haye can get f%cked by accepting the July 2nd date.

2 wouldnt happen in a million years.
3 wouldnt happen either. A unification takes precedence over a mando.
Why do you write such bollox?Comment

1. He didn't want to fight his mando anyway, he wanted to wait until July 2nd but Wlad because of past history with Haye didn't want to risk being inactive if he pulled out so he is having this interim fight. There are 3 separate ways Haye can get f%cked by accepting the July 2nd date.

2. Haye will never fight that frequently
3. I don't think Wlad pulling out is a huge risk he has pulled out once only in nearly 60 pro fights.Comment

Wlad never mentioned Haye's mandatory. He is pretending to be totally ignorant to Haye's obligations. Vitali is the one who commented on Chagaev.
The two brothers released statements at the same time and it was a case of one hand not knowing what the other was doing. Two liars who couldnt get their rhetoric straight.Last edited by Joeyzagz; 02-11-2011, 03:13 AM.Comment

Exactly! Itd be fair if they rested the same amount of time, but Wlad doesnt do fair. As it stands now , Wlad will have a favorable rest advantage over Haye in every scenario if the fight is on July 2nd.
The last time Wlad tried to fight on 3 months rest he pulled out with an injury. So Haye is supposed to trust that Wlad wont pull on 2 months rest? WTF3. I don't think Wlad pulling out is a huge risk he has pulled out once only in nearly 60 pro fights.
I dont know of any injured fighter who starts scheduling 2 and 3 fights in a row without knowing how his body will respond after that first match back. Wlad is doing some major bull****ting here.Comment
