Does Ortiz convince you that he has heart by fighting Berto?

I know he actually has to fight the guy first, but lets face it he knows he's the underdog in the fight...GBP are not trying to feed Ortiz as a name opponent for Berto because it's not doing them any benefit it would be doing Dibella a benefit, because Berto will move up to making PPV fights...Which GBP will not make a penny off...I think that in a business perspective GBP wants to know if Ortiz has become an expense to their company...In other words it's either make it or break it for Ortiz...They want to know if he's damaged goods...They believe in his physical strength, but they want to know if he's championship material...They had a business plan for this kid and they probably wanted to bring him to the PPV scale by the time he was 24 years old, but all that was shut down by Maidana...I'm sure they talked about these plans with Ortiz as well...That's why Ortiz said he will take this fight...He wants to prove he has heart by facing ANYONE...This is the right fight to prove that...If Ortiz pulls this off he'll have a better resume than Khan IMO...

I think it does say a lot about him and his competition. I like ortiz and I hope he takes bertos title. I think that'll propel him ahead of all the other 140ers

My question is after Berto where does Ortiz go from there? Does he fight Dejan Zaveck? Cintron? Mike Jones?

If Ortiz can maintain a strong mind...then he has a very good chance of winning this, I STRONGLY doubt that happens though. Once Berto starts getting his in Ortiz will be on full retreat mode and ready to be taken out. My honest opinion.

I think this is a make it or break it for GBP if Ortiz is going to be a future marketable star.

Did you see him talk post fight in his last fight with Peterson? Compare that attitude to Khan and Bradley's.

Uh no it convinces me that he very likely has ******** debts or a drug addiction that nobody knows about because anybody who knows anything about boxing knows Ortiz will lose this fight, and he should NOT have taken this fight.

It has nothing to do with skill, because Ortiz is good. It has nothing to do with heart, because Ortiz gets punched in the face for a living so people typing on messageboards shouldn't talk ****.

It has to do with Berto being bigger, used to being bigger, and used to fighting bigger dudes. Ortiz will get destroyed and unlike the rest of you who bet "fake imaginary money on the internet" I will be betting real mother****ing cash on this and it will be the easiest ****ing money anyone will ever make, other than betting ON JCCj to win.
