It was all that and more Ice. It was close to 90 degrees and I was sweating profusely with more than 30,000 other people, but I didn't care. I was a wide-eyed fifteen year old seeing his idol/idols in the flesh for the first time. Ali put a punishing on Frazier in the first few rounds but Smokin' Joe just wouldn't quit coming. I wish I could hear what Ali was whispering to Frazier while they're at it, I'm pretty sure it was classic!Comment

I wish there were more big fights down here. Probably the biggest fight I ever went to was Roy vs Glen Kelly when he ko'd kelly with his hands behind his back. I've been to pretty much every hbo card down here since and some local shows but that fight had that "big fight" feel to it. It was sold out at the american airlines arena and everyone was dressed to the 9s. roy put on a helluva performance even though we all knew what the outcome was gonna be.Comment

Cotto-Clottey
Not the greatest, but the suspense of being there live, the slow first round then BOOM a jab drops Clottey made MSG ERUPT!!, then a cut in the third round by a clash of heads made me worried that the bout would be stopped to a no contest, after asking Cotto if he could continue, Cotto said let's keep going, and he struggled a lot to keep Clottey's over hand rights off of Cotto's cut. and it became Cotto's closest moment, then the announcment of the winner, it was a split decision, and all you can hear is "De CAGUUUAAAS PUUEERRTTOO RRRIICCOOOO" the stadium went NUTS again..it was awesome!Comment
