This is what most people are not realizing. It can only be one of two things. Either Wlad is Freaking ******, or he doesn't want the fight.

This ultimatum is the most effective way to have a person with an already Global sized ego to say "To hell with them!".

The right way is to do it the normal way so no one has any excuses after the fight is over. Wlad is just trying to cover his ass when he loses to the greater Haye.

The fact remains that Haye said he will not fight Wlad on july 2nd.Wlad saythe date is still open for Haye to fight him on the "AGREED" date of july 2nd.This date was aproved by both parties.Now Haye says he wont figt,those are the facts,not some strange opinion that Wlad wants an excuse "IF" he loses to Haye.AND your statement has no data to base the statement on. you pulled it out of thin air

Agreed, this has been dragging on for long enough. But, surely Haye has the right to expect a full promotional tour, and at least the usual buildup?

The point is..... an ultimatum was never going to work, if there genuinely are dates/issues to resolve.

The date,venue and purse split was already agreed upon by both parties.9 WEEKS IS PLENTY OF TIME TO PROMOTE A FIGHT OF THIS MAGNITUDE.It has been totally hype for 2 years now.and there is nothing stopping the promotion of this fight to start befor the Chisora fight. IT is all excuses.

- Vladimir was negotiating with at least 2 other fighters besides Haye. Now under normal circumstances, I can say, why not .... BUT ..... (read on)
- you have videos calling out Haye,
- you are constantly calling Haye out (not the other 2 fighters),
- you say I want Hayes so so badly,
- you say Haye come fight me you coward.

but then you give him a July 2nd option or nothing? All I'm saying is whatever Vladimir said BEFORE must be BULL because when it counts, he is not showing that he wants to fight Hayes BADLY!!!

As for Hayes, if you take his history into account, he is even worse.

So what if he was ? He had agreed to fight Haye on july 2nd.The fact is no matter what reasons you give,it was Haye in the end who canceled the fight on july 2nd, witch was the date both parties had already agreed too.
