mcclowskey adds nothig to Khan's resume much like Salita.

Prescott would at least be a win on a guy who defeated him.
He will improve his skillset methinks...I'm going....with the Irish crowd, for the craic.

Gurantee you there will be troubke in the crowd.

The fight I went to, maybe 7 or 10 Irish guys were at the front looking at Barry Mcguigan etc... In the view of hese Pakistani's.

Then the pakistani's, now probably 20 of them started mouthing off, and security got in. Then the Irish guys sat in their seats behind me.

It was the St Claire fight, and it went to 12, but hy the 11th he Irish guys got up and left. Musta thought we are outnumbered!

Although when they went up to leave, the Pakisrani's all got up incase there was trouble. Security basicly escorted them out.

Will definitely be trouble. Its getting billed as England vs Ireland already:

So that causes confusion for the Loyalist crowd/City supporters who don't like Khan. No doubt Hatton will be there, backing up Khan and tying not to be caught with illegal substances,

He's a GAA player too, so I'm gonna go with a local GAA top on, Celtic top would be too mild. Should stop any Irish getting confused. Hopefully I'll be able to work as a peacemaker in case anything nasty happens.

Pakistanis and Irish are pretty good together I've found but you always get idiots who need calming down.

To Jro, Mcclowskey probably is better thab Prescott, but he will always be able to say he is khan's Daddy, beating Maidana may say yeah Khan could beat Prescott now, but he still lost.

Prescott called him out 2 or 3 times.

In fact Mcclowskey poses no threst to Khan's chin and does nothig better than Khan.

At least Prescott has a power shot and could hurt Khan. Also Prescott is like 6 foot, but that's moot.

I reckon it'll go the distance. Will be a good show.

              By Terence Dooley

Amir Khan takes on Paul McCloskey at the MEN, Manchester on April 16 after finally agreeing terms with the EBU light-welterweight title-holder. Khan, 24-1 (17), has told Sky Sports that he rates his latest WBA title challenger and will be fully focussed on the fight.

"He's undefeated, a European champion. I'm looking forward to it, it'll be a big fight for me - I'm coming home. It's going to be a great fight," enthused Khan. "People know who Amir Khan is now, they want to see me fight. I promise the fans I'm going to bring a lot of big fights to the UK and this is one of them. People have a lot respect for me worldwide. The future's looking bright."

McCloskey is 22-0 (12), the 31-year-old has questioned Khan's power, 'Dudey' believes that the belt will be heading across the Irish sea come April. Khan, however, insists that he will emerge from the fight triumphant before heading into a unification fight with WBC and WBO boss Tim Bradley. Floyd Mayweather is Khan's long-term goal.

"Me and Floyd is a fight that could happen in Wembley Arena. It's a fight people would want to see across the world. I'm a big fan of Mayweather, but sometimes you have to share the ring with one of your heroes. It would be massive," promised Amir.

Mcklowskey has only 22 fights at age 36.

He has a resume no better than Salita.
