We need to get rid of p4p lists

Lets face it, they make no sense. someone in the top 5 can be ejected from it in their next fight, and then you have stragglers like Mosley still in it somehow despite drawing with someone who lost to Brian Vera in their last fight.

I say we just trash it, and replace it instead with a simple 'most accomplished fighters of the last year' list. That way it will be at least only slightly opinion based and also not allow fighters to simply live off their past achievements or hype.

    What do you say?

Agreed.the fact that It comes up in serious discussion "this fighters p4p" shows it's gone too far it's a completely opinionated concept and people refer to it as fact

There is nothing wrong with P4P lists. Every list is just another man's opinion. Don't take them to seriously and ignore those people who do.

why get rid of it? the p4p list is nothing but a bunch of opionions. there are plenty of different p4p list **** you can have your own. why must yall feel like yall jsut have to live with someone elses opinion? p4p list isnt fact or anything real or big. its someones opinion maybe a group of people. every site has their own list every fan has their own list. who gives a ****. you just cant continue on with life because someone else opinion?

when boxers talk about it they just want to be known as the best no matter what weight class. lol

It's all subjective, personally I think they're useless.

Id rather have a list that makes sense.
creates more incentive for fighters to continue to go out and fight the best opponents rather than living on old popularity or wins.

because p4p lists make no sense even when I try to make them.

the best way to judge a fighter in terms of greatness is what hes accomplished, and Id rather that be the focus when considering who the best in the world are.
