I am the same way with boxing. My friend who got me into boxing recorded every fight he has watched since when he started watching in 1991 or 92. When I got into boxing he let me borrow all of them, which had to be at least 200 tapes and it was great! Since then he has been converting them over to dvd and burning them for me. Also we both have been getting fight collections from the 30's-80's and trading them back and forth.
I will admit though, I don't have many boxing tapes...Only cause NFL was my first love, but I have been following the sport since I was 6. I'm 31 now. Boxing took the #1 spot when I was about 13.Last edited by HandSpeed303; 02-05-2011, 05:19 PM.Comment

I try to watch and follow all sports casually, but boxing is tops for me and I watch it religiously. To put it this way, I'll watch a decent boxing fight over the Super Bowl (unless the Cowboys are playing), NBA Finals, World Series, stacked MMA card, ect.Comment

I have this guy at my job who brings me in tapes (he hasn't for a while now, come to think of it) of fighters from his day...Also book's about fighters of his day...Dude is old, but has a very huge knowledge of the sport. I didn't even know he was a huge boxing fan like that, I just happen to here a convo he was having with a co-worker. When I had a chance, I brought it to his attention, and dude blown me away!!! He also gave me major props on how far I could go back in the day..

There is something the poster Jro loves to say, and I agree with it 100%. I have forgot more about boxing, than most people have learned about boxing. I am by no means an expert, there are still things I learn about the sport everyday.Comment
