I usually held the table all night. i knew a couple tricks i used to bet with people, but for some reason, i usually buckled under pressure playing for anything over $5 a game of 8 ball against another good player.
Right on Jaz man. I am terrible at pool. Me and some friends were playing at the bar the other week and I could tell we were pissing off some real players because we were taking up the tables and sucking at it and they had to wait while we played.

Also we both have been getting fight collections from the 30's-80's and trading them back and forth.
I have this guy at my job who brings me in tapes (he hasn't for a while now, come to think of it) of fighters from his day...Also book's about fighters of his day...Dude is old, but has a very huge knowledge of the sport. I didn't even know he was a huge boxing fan like that, I just happen to here a convo he was having with a co-worker. When I had a chance, I brought it to his attention, and dude blown me away!!! He also gave me major props on how far I could go back in the day..

I will admit though, I don't have many boxing tapes...Only cause NFL was my first love, but I have been following the sport since I was 6. I'm 31 now. Boxing took the #1 spot when I was about 13.

I try to watch and follow all sports casually, but boxing is tops for me and I watch it religiously. To put it this way, I'll watch a decent boxing fight over the Super Bowl (unless the Cowboys are playing), NBA Finals, World Series, stacked MMA card, ect.

Even if you don't have as many fights in your collection as I do you still got me beat.

There is something the poster Jro loves to say, and I agree with it 100%. I have forgot more about boxing, than most people have learned about boxing. I am by no means an expert, there are still things I learn about the sport everyday.
