Boxing is the only sport I follow. I watch MMA but that's only because there is no boxing. The only other sport I ever got into was Women's volleyball during the Olympics hahah. I can't care less for the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, whatever.
Does anyone else watch only boxing???

That's good to hear. People my age who talk about other sports don't know shit about other eras of that sport. They may know names but never watched any footage of the games.Comment

That's true. I'm a year older than you and sports fans don't seem to appreciate the history of their teams...Comment

My brother and I, have a collection of VHS tapes full of old NFL films, Super Bowls, Teams of the Decade, and pretty much the history of every team...Even before the merger...
It is the only reason I still have my VHS player...
The collection put together, is easly over 100 tapes...We still watch them to this day..
My Favorite Highlight: The Autumn Wind is a Raider!

I am the same way with boxing. My friend who got me into boxing recorded every fight he has watched since when he started watching in 1991 or 92. When I got into boxing he let me borrow all of them, which had to be at least 200 tapes and it was great! Since then he has been converting them over to dvd and burning them for me. Also we both have been getting fight collections from the 30's-80's and trading them back and forth. My brother and I, have a collection of VHS tapes full of old NFL films, Super Bowls, Teams of the Decade, and pretty much the history of every team...Even before the merger...

I only like watching boxing. The only sport (if you can call playing pool a sport) then i was a pretty dam good player back in the day. I drank, many, many nights for free, and people who played pool were like, "oh, ****...here he comes" when i walked into the bar...lol.
I usually held the table all night. i knew a couple tricks i used to bet with people, but for some reason, i usually buckled under pressure playing for anything over $5 a game of 8 ball against another good player.Comment
