If PAC vs Floyd does happen

Floyd will lose his favorite left jab to the body and his famous sholder roll defense.

When has Floyd ever used the shoulder roll on a southpaw?

never, bcuz it doesnt work. the punches come from different angles which means he has to resort to his secondary choice of defensive stance. then again he fought with a peek a boo guard for his whole amateur career and much of his pro career, hes not exactly easy to hit that way either. but when hes switching between both he becomes more versetaille and has more counterpunching oportunities.

the jab to the body can still be effective, the reason he wont use it is bcuz he wont have to. a jab to the body is a set up for the overhand right, straight right hand lead and left hook lead. against a southpaw those punches are easier to land (except the overhand) and thus u dont have to establish the jab to the body as much.

plus u get an even better angle for the straight right, which is a more powerful punch and one floyd throws pretty damn well. he punished judah with that punch, knocked out sharmba mitchell and i figure it would be one of his most effective punches against pac aswell. more effective than the jab downstairs wouldve been.

The shoulder roll doesn't work on the southpaw because the left shoulder protects against the right hand most effectively. Floyd's jaw would be lined up against a southpaw's straight left (usually their most dangerous punch) in that stance.
