    Boxing is so corrupted

    Its almost unbelievable.

Whats more cringe-worthy is the lack of outcry from announcers or boxers. Its like we all just let promotion ass-**** everyone.

True that. But its so blatant and in your face in boxing, its almost comical that everyone just shrugs it off. Its not like we get fights every night like in other sports, where corruption could be hid easier.

I 100% agree! Just look at Bob Arum getting to choose Pacqiuao's opponent for the 154 title. In what other sport could a player/team get to choose there opponent for a trophy? Its like Manchester United getting given an automatic place in the champions league final and they choose to play Stoke City, a decent team but very beatable. Its bad enough that Pacquiao was getting a title shot without fighting at the weight before but the fact he gets to choose his opponent is a disgrace!

Thing is no matter what every hardcore boxing fan will pay to see these events and the promoters and sanctioning bodys know this which is why it happens and is why the sport is dying. Boxing needs a governing body that governs everything like every other sport has. Soccer has fifa, Basketball has NBA, Hockey has NFL etc. Boxing has 4 alphabet organisations that only care about receiving there sanctioning fees and make and bend the rules as they please.
