1994 George Foreman vs 2011 David Haye

That's a BIG maybe. Foreman was able to put those big punches on better fighters than Haye. I agree with everyone else that eventually he does and wins by knockout.
And no, Foreman would not beat Wlad or Vitali. They are big enough and hit hard enough that Foreman would be knocked back all night.Comment

It would look a lot like the Morrison fight, but shorter, with Haye staying way on the outside trying to engage as little as possible, and Foreman plodding forward throwing his heavy jabs and loopy right hands. Haye would probably win the opening few rounds with quick bursts of explosive punching, but old Foreman had a wicked chin and took Morrison's hooks flush for the full twelve rounds, so I doubt Haye gets him out of there. Might wobble him though, but it's far more likely to happen the other way round, and probably from a glancing blow. By the mid rounds, Haye starts to gas from all the running and from Foreman's constant forward pressure, as well as the energy he's expended trying to keep Foreman off him. He starts to get trapped against the ropes, where he gets caught with shots and rocked. Fight becomes sloppy as he desperately tries to hold on at every occasion. Crowd starts to boo. Foreman's clubbing shots finally do Haye in Herbie Hide style, and Foreman's fans use it as undisputed evidence of Foreman's discombobulating power.Last edited by nomadman; 02-06-2011, 12:31 PM.Comment
