The other way to do it is do a 50/50 and bradley gets nothing from the sky box office sales. US fans don't understand that in this instance sky box office is one of the main streams of income EVEN if the fight is in the US. When mayweather fought hatton sky box office did 1 million buys (more than HBO) and mayweather had 0 split in the UK tv revenue. He was badly advised and it is fair to say everyone involved underestimated the UK market. It meant that hatton made approx £10 million from UK revenue in 2007 that was $20 million. He also had a 65-35 split on all other revenue.

This is why bob arum persuaded manny to take a 50/50 against hatton because he knew would the UK tv money brings to the table.

It evens things out in the British fighters favour, so for khan to take 50/50 would be ****** from a purely a financial point of view, because in terms of generating revenue Bradley as great a fighter as he is and is definitely the #1 brings very little else to the table. When floyd mayweather fought arturro gatti the split was 60-40 in gatti's favour. Now everyone and their mother knew how superior mayweather was to gatti in terms of fighting, mayweather was already a 2-weight world champ, but gatti was the draw and everyone knew it. Mayweather accepted it because he knew he would win and it would bring him more exposure than any other win previously in his career, he also went to gatti's home away from home in AC to fight.

But if Bradley does come over to the UK to take the fight, I wouldn't hold it against him if he wants 55-45 or 60-40 in his favour.
