So if this fight takes place in the UK where Khan can sell out a stadium let alone an arena with 25,0000 and Khan is already PPV in the UK not only that against Malignaggi more people tuned into watch the replay of Khan fight than did for the FA Cup final highlights, Thats like more people tuning to watch Khan than the Superbowl.

So baring in mind that Khan is that star, the draw, The money maker, Bradley should not be expecting 50/50, It would be unrealistic of Bradley to expect a 50/50 split since he has no locus standi nor the fan base to warrent such a split. Team Khan will only give Bradley 60/40 split or more likely 70/30 with 70 going to Khan which is more realistic.

The question is if Bradley will accept these terms, If not he can go and fight another Abregu for a paltry fee, Team Khan will probably force Gary Shaws hand to accept a small split which is best for everyone.

I was thinking about exactly this the other day and am worried this will be a stumbling block.

I think the most fair way to do this would be 55/45 or 60/40 on everything apart from the ppv which should probably be 70/30 and if bradley negotiates well then maybe 65/35. That will probably still net him about $1.5-2 million based on a 30-40k gate and between 100-200k sky box office sales. while khan would probably get $3.5-4 (£2-2.5 million). Obviously the ppv sales COULD be significantly higher. But this would be average approximate numbers. It would probably almost double bradley's pay day against alexander. He would be giving up home advantage but it would still maximise his pay day.

I know ricky hatton made approx £5 million for his outing against juan lazcano, which sold 55k, and probably hit quite a few homes on box office.

He will never get 50/50. He just doesn't sell, its unfortunate but true. 60/40 or 65/35 in the UK would still get him his biggest pay day by far. Think about it khan got $950k from gbp for maidana. Lets say he got $1 million from US promoter, the word is the fight sold about 100k on sky box office. That is nearly £1 million for khan. It means he probably got over £1.5 (over $2 milion) not bad for a small gate. Now imagine the figures for a gate between 30-40k.

He is the cash cow of the division by far, apparently he was making 7 figures in his first 10 fights, the kid is box office like it or not. Bradley will have to settle for the biggest pay day of his career but not 50/50. If he wins he gets pacquiao so he must see it from that point of view
