I don't think he will lose the sky date. They will show Khan-Witter if it gets down to it. And, plus it will sell in the U.K

Now will HBO pay the hefty licensing fee is the question...That I don't know one can only hope that they won't. But, then again if the Berto-Ortiz fight gets made then I can see HBO showing a tape delay of Khan-TBA(even if it's Witter) since it would be a Golden boy double header with Ortiz and Khan(both GBP fighters)

And, that is HBO problem with promising dates to fighters who have no set opponents.

And, great job by Sky to chose Khan-TBA instead of Wlad-Haye

I don't rate him over Bradley. And I don't believe in triangle theories either, but it's impossible not to compair their performances against the same fighters. Even if you don't do it in a triangle theory kind of way, you can still examine the skills they use. And Lamont may be more versatile than Alexander.

also I just got word that the witter fight wasn't a lie....this is a great possibility of happining....i think peterson may have made 150 (grand) against ortiz & khan offered peterson 200 (grand) peterson thought it was too low he wanted around 5 to 600 grand to amirs 2 million. (500 grand in petersons favor would be FAIR vs amirs 2 million in my opinion) so now khan has increased it to 300 grand & it's his final offer....

i don't know if peterrson will accept it......

From what I have seen from both Peterson is the better fighter,Alexander has more talent but Peterson takes risk has great heart and decent boxing ability..Not for nothing I also believe Peterson has the better corner as well,Devon career imo will be on a dwon slid by next year esp if he fights Maidana next..

300k is a really good offer, put it this way will peterson ever make more than that in one fight...I can't see it. He can't afford to let this type of pay day slip, I think he will be a gatekeeper in a few years. Take this while he is still fresh, he could cause an upset...stranger things have happened, he is a solid fighter.

well i would argue that you haven't seen much....devons only 2 tough fights are bradley & koteilnik. 2 good fighters....just because alexander is coming off a tough lost doesn't mean he would all of a sudden lose to all of these guys now....thats a NOOB mind set. stylistically we're talking about KHAN.....& devon would present MUCH more danger to khan then peterson ever could. devon is a tall tricky southpaw with pop....enough pop to get amir out of there. peterson is slower, smaller, & more predictable & easier to handle (for khans style)

500 k is a fair amount......even 450 k. khan is getting more then 2 million dollars....peterson won't even make anywhere to a million....also peterson got close to 200 k in his last bout....300 k is not much of a difference to be honest to take on this kind of risk (khan & the home town judges)....peterson would be risking the home town decision & being matched with the much greater talent. if peterson is knocked out or beaten badley thats the end of his career (as far as pay goes) all for a puny 300 k. its all about the risk. & the risk is MUCH higher then a fight with ortiz....therefore he should be making his proper amount of money for a khan fight.....around 450 k is fair to amirs 2 million plus.

it's all about RESPECTING & treating fighters fairly.

I'm not a noob askk about me..Anyway Devon had three bad fights imo,the fight with Urango was not a great fight tbh..Yes a great finish but overall not a great fight by Devon,the fight was close at the time of the KO..Peterson digs deep and fights harder when the fighter in front of him is turning it up(look to Petersons fights with Bradley and Ortiz)Devon never digs deep he just relys on his talents to get him threw and tbh that's not enough to trouble Khan..I've been saying thiis since the Urango fight Alexander has a lot of flaws and then to top it off he. Really does not have a fighters mentality Peterson imo is the tougher fight and the better fighter..

If Peterson beats Khan. He then earns a massive PPV fight aginst Bradley on HBO. He would be mad to turn $200k never mind $300k.
