Let's say, for the sake of argument, that they got to 600k (which I doubt they did in 3 days, but whatever), so what would Haye make then? It says with half a million he would make 5 million, with 600k maybe that woould rise to what, 6 million? That's still less than what the Klitschkos usually do on average.

Oh, and that article contradicts prior informations, it was reported the first time that Haye vs Valuev did around 800k PPVs, but in that article it says it only did 400k.

What a joke this guy is.

His facebook page was becoming a gathering place for all boxing fans, including the Brits, to **** all over the gutless loser.

Last year at this time his PR staff was doing a great job updating the page with all kinds of updates and photos of the flaming f@ggot holding severed heads.

3-4 months ago the page suddenly went quiet. When he balked at the latest Klitschko fight the page became a forum for fans worldwide to trash him.

This week, the coward decided to take down the page altogether.

Now all that's left are a couple lame fanpages where nobody can post their opinions.

All hayes needs to do is stop saying its Wlads fault and stuff. It maybe Wlads fault, but if Haye really wants the fight he will go the extra mile to make it happen. Who can blame the klitschos for messing haye about a bit considering Haye postponed the original date for the fight.

If it means retiring at 31 years and 364 days, then so be it. Delay retirement and stop talking about retiring.

I know that out of gross revenue that Haye generates of PPV 66% is taken by sky, therefore the alleged 800k(which I dont believe for a minute, but again, lets calculate it for ****s and giggles)
As far as I know PPV was something like 25 pounds
25X800k -.66(25X800k) = 6,800,000
out of that around half will be taken by Haye's verious promoters
which leaves him with somewhere around 3,400,000 plus somewhere around a 1,000,000 from ticket revenue
So his net revenue after paying off the promoters but before paying off Audley Harrison and all other costs and taxes is 4,400,000
1,000,000 goes go Audley Harrison
around 400,000 will go to various costs like training camp and rent of the arena.
That leaves Haye with a plump 3,000,000 pounds before taxes. Which is somewhere around 4,000,000 euros.

Funny how you read my entire post and neglect to respond to the most important fact: That David Haye has 3 masters that he has to pay off before he even gets his money.

He's a slave. It's obvious. Just like it's obvious that you never finished grammar school.

Show me proof that they take out 65-70%. I am basing it 2 figures we have been given, the first was ricky hatton's fight against floyd mayweather where hatton received in excess of £15 million in some reports it was reported to be £20. the hbo ppv buys for that fight were 850k, which equals $42.5 million, now the general rule of thumb at hbo is always been that the fighters get approx 50% of the pot give or take...so that would be lets say $21 (which was split 65-35 in mayweathers favour) which would mean hatton gets 35% of that figure which is roughly over $6 million. Hatton's original guarantee without ppv was $8 million. Now even if you add the 6 + 8 that still only gives you $14 million (in 2007 that was £7). So for his pay day to be over 15 it means the majority of the rest of the money came from sky ppv. Which the figures were around 1 million buys (I think) that would equal to around £15 million in revenue. So hatton would have had to have at least a cut of 7 or 8 of that to hit a £15 million pay day and in fact more.

Not to mention the article I posted earlier where it reported the fighters take out £4 million from a 500k buy rate, which generates 7.5 million in revenue. Roughly 55% of the total revenue which distinctly correlates with the hatton figures.

I have no idea about Haye's contractual obligations, and neither do you...it is besides the point anyway, the point is that Haye generates money, not whether he gets to keep it or the specifics with his alleged multiple promoters. No one argues that Mike Tyson was the biggest draw of all time but it is well documented that he got screwed on a number of occasions by Don King and went through multiple fights without getting paid and only had a rolls royce to show for it.
