I don't really expect too much from it apart from Whitaker maybe reminding Judah of a few things when they were training together in the Duva camp in the mid to late 90s. Judah was basically Whitaker's protoge at the time.

Really? Or are you referring to Whitaker's style?

yeah, I saw an article or either Sweet Pea saying this but Ive also heard them doing this a few fights ago which he was supposed to help his father but IDK if it happened or not. They use to spar back in the day when Zab was a youngin and I think since then Sweet Pea has helped a few times but I expect to see much different except obvious stuff that Zab should know anyways. Pea always gets on him about going to his right instead of going to his left like he sometimes does. Pea says even he couldnt get away with circling left. He said Zab should always circle right and thats what killed him against Cotto

At this point in his career it isn't going to matter very much who trains Judah. I don't mean that as derogatory, it's just that Zab has been doing this too long now to change. He is who he is.

ive been saying judah needed a new trainer a long time ago. his father wasnt pushing him or showing him anything new. when he had eddie mustafah he looked good knocking out santa cruz. he put his punches together he set his power shots up he wasnt just lookign for a counter. then he fire him and back with his father and he goes back to the same ol **** before. he never listens to his father and he never take advantage of his advantages. thats what pernell can show him and work on. and its up to judah to use what he has learned in the gym.

Judah's too old to be taught. Seriously there's nothing sweet pea can do at this point. And is sweet pea a trainer now? didn't know that.

judah is only 32. your never too old. to learn some new stuff if you train hard enough and work on it in training. i mean judah is pretty sound skillfully its jsut minor things like actually setting his shots up and putting shots together really. and being more consistant. his footwork is good he has good defense its only a problem when hes not firing back. so pernell is jsut going to help him put a good gameplan together and get judah to use his talents like old days.

Pea can advice judah on anything but judah's problem has always been mental and stamina. Once it goes past 4 rounds judah starts to break down.

I respect sweet pea but he cant don anything about that.
