there is a new irish guy at my construction site and he is a hardcore boxing fan so we clicked real fast. we spoke about fav fighters, fights etc and then pacquiao came up. and he said something pretty interesting. he was like why is it that after the 2nd jmm fight, guys who pacquiao fought got left looking like they were in car crashes???? after jmm pac fought diaz, oscar, hatton, cotto, clottey and margarito. diaz looked a bloody mess, oscar was on his way 2 being left looking like wrecked b4 he quit. had hatton not been ko in 2 rounds he would have been left looking a mess. godbless him but we all saw how cotto looked after the fight. clottey blocked for 12 rounds so he kinda doesnt count. and margarito was left with a broken face like he got with a led pipe. why is that he asked??? pacquiao landed heavy shots on marco antonio, morales and jmm. none of them was left looking deformed. but then when he pacquiao moved up in weight, his opponents were left looking disfigured. he asked me again why is that??? i laughed and said idk. and he said because he is on steroids thats why. i said i dont think he is on anything but i couldnt think of anything 2 counter what he was saying.
You have to consider how slower those guys (ODLH, Hatton, Clottey, Marg) were. Not only that, they were automatic punching bags because of hardly any head movement. Another factor is the Manny moving up in weight, meaning more power. Manny has great "pop" and technique in his punches while not many fighters have. Hell, he he could probably still bust them up even at featherweight. I'm no boxing expert but that's what I believe.
It's not about the money, it's about egos. Neither guy wanted to be dictated to. Floyd Sr. seems to believe that Mayweather can beat Pacquiao whether on PEDs or not, but then stated right afterward that if he were advising his son, he wouldn't even fight Pacquaio. Team Pacquiao said no to the tests the first time around and supposedly said yes the second time around. Problem is hard to know what is really going on. Ah, the mind games continue...
You stated that Mayweather offered him a 14 day cutoff as a one off and Pacman refused? You made it sound like he told him that the same day, gave Pacquiao an ultimatum while in negotiations. Saying "It was a one-off and Pacquiao refused" means it was told to Pacquiao "this is you only chance, take or leave it" and he walked. The article is dated February 13th, after Mayweather had signed to fight Mosley. So, he stated over a month after negotiations fell apart that it was a one off, not while negotiating. Pacquiao didn't know that at the time of negotiations so you can't use that as an argument..
Leave the misinformation, propaganda and lies to the politicians, you are no good at it..
There has only been one official negotiation, Mayweather agreed to EVERYTHING, Manny would not agree to random blood testing without a 24-day cutoff.
Team Mayweather claimed that a 14-day cutoff was still on the table even after Arum announced that the fight was off.
They could have accepted a 14-day cutoff, and we would have already seen that fight. Anyone who attempts to justify why that negotiation fell through and why Manny would not submit to RBT is a childish idiot.
Roger Mayweather is a piece of ****. seriously who the hell is this cat? what does he know about boxing? he got his ass knocked out by journeymen when he was fighting. hahaha.
1) The reason Pacquiao lost and/or got KO'd back when he was 106 lbs is because he took fights that he shouldn't have fought or wasn't prepared for to just to make ends meat (remember he was broke and living on the streets). Pacquiao not only had no amateur experience, he was also not surrounded by good fighters in his own family (Floyd Jr. was around his father, Roger and Jeff while growing up). Roger trying to use that as an explanation means absolutely nothing since Pacquiao is a complete fighter today...
2) This is a flat out accusation by Roger and this is why he is being sued for slander. Floyd Sr. continued to state "it is only our opinion" but not once did Roger say he thinks or in my opinion, etc. He stated it as fact and they will lose their a$$ in court on this one. Nothing Pacquiao has done is unheard of in boxing. Tommy Hearns fought at 147 lbs at the beginning his boxing career and won the IBF cruiserweight title at 189 lbs! Roy Jones fought Ricky Stackhouse at 154 lbs early on and then won a heavyweight belt at 193 lbs. So, going from 106 to 144 pounds (38 lb difference) is less than Tommy Hearns difference (42 lb difference) and Roy Jones Jr difference (39 lbs). According to Roger's logic, anyone who moves up in weight and succeeds is on PEDs, so both Roy Jones and Tommy Hearns were juicing, right?
And when he says Floyd Jr won't lose to Pacquiao, that's true if he continues to refuse to fight him. Also, there are no random tests for the Shane Mosley vs. Pacquiao fight, so he is wrong about that as well...
All in all, it's jealously and nothing else. And it's got to kill the Mayweather's that it's Manny who has the Nike contract and the Pechanga commercial endorsement and not Pretty Boy. If Floyd Jr wasn't such an ass (as my wife put it), he could be there too.
Everyone knows Roy was juicing so was your boy evander holyfield.
I don't care if he apologized or not. Floyd and Manny's personal issues are not something I discuss. I could care less. We all have issues. But as far as boxing, yeah I'll chat it up. And on this issue, Manny is just ridiculous.
not trying to single you out, but in general I always find it funny when people try to separate the personal lives of boxers to their ring performances.
boxer A constantly cheats on his wife
boxer B is a racist
boxer C assaults people
boxer D killed his wife
But I don't care, because so and so is a great fighter.
Where do we draw the line when it should matter if a fighter is an unyielding ******* outside the ring? When should us fans start to ask that maybe we helped create this problem and that we should criticize fighters, favorite or not. ****** boxers will be ****** regardless, but I think if millions of people called famous fighters out on their **** more often, they might just think twice the next time they try to pull something ****** that they've gotten away with in the past.
sorry for being off topic folks.
let's get back to manny is a cheat and floyd is a duck. maybe tonite is the night we really get to the bottom of it.

I don't care about their personal life because it's not my job to. They aren't my role models. I don't have kids. End of story. They don't owe me anything.
