That sounds realistic. I was just wondering what everyone thought. The glove size just seems like it would make a difference in this fight especially.

I think some of it may have came from an Oscar tweet about the fight that said 10oz but some think that he may was just thinking of a normal fight or didnt know about the 8oz thing. Others say the Commission denied it while others say its still 8 so IDK.

Me personally, I just think 8oz would honestly benefit both guys and just make it a more brutal fight. I think both guys plan on putting some pain on the other guy so I just think it will make it a more vicious fight.

Some think its an advantage for Floyd and he wants it because Cotto has been getting cut lately but to me Cotto is seen as the bigger puncher so I wont ever believe that smaller gloves are less of a benefit for the bigger puncher. I believe Cotto would want them just as much as Floyd

Just hear me out, What makes guys think Cotto is the bigger puncher than mayweather? Just give an reasonable explanation and answer. We all know mayweather isn't a concussive puncher, but neither is cotto, nor do I think he's the bigger puncher. I honestly think they're power are equal, but the key is mayweather is light years faster and quicker, and speed kills also with punch you don't see. At the lower weights if you compare and contrast both, mayweather had more knockouts, better knockout percentage as well as more concussive knockouts. Since both have moved up the knockouts have gone away for both. So ask what makes cotto the harder puncher? Because there is nothing you can really base it on, or really use to make cotto the harder puncher.
