This means that Floyd is pulling another publicity stunt that may backfire. If he's betting on being rejected and the opposite occurs, he may have set himself up to fail. 8oz gloves will hurt more when his ribs are pounded.

Kudos to Floyd for trying to show himself more aggressive but Cotto's counter punching is under rated. Cotto may very well be the worst opponent for Floyd to choose to take more chances than normal.

Depends on whether or not you think Floyd is powerful enough to KO Cotto.

If you think Cotto needs the boost of power it might help him.

How does Cotto beat Mayweather? Your thoughts.

I believe Cotto has to use timing like he used to in order to beat Mayweather. He needs to time and measure Floyds movement and punches. He needs to keep a high and sturdy guard up at all times and apply relentless pressure. Diaz, who I do not have a lot of confidence in, needs to devise a strategy that implements timing and pressure to break Floyd down. One things for sure, Floyd wont be backing Cotto up, Cotto will be backing Floyd up. Its at 154 and Cotto is bigger and stronger than Mayweather at that weight. I give Cotto a decent chance to pull it off if he implements these things and uses this strategy. If Diaz has him clinch and dance like he did with Margs, then he will be punished. But if the Cotto of old comes back and he fights like a tank, he can beat Mayweather. Your thoughts?
