Think about this... For all the people that think the rehydration/catchweight didnt affect Cotto....

Pac dusted a weakened Cotto teh first time, but if you guys wanna push that, then ask yourself, why did Manny again ask for a catchweight on a fighter he dominated???

The answer is obvious.... He dominated because of the catchweight/rehydration clause

People can argue this and argue that, but at the end of the day people say Manny and Floyd in common opponents.. As Floyd stated after the fight. I fought him at a weight he was comfortable at, and not a "catchweight"

145 cotto was weaker with a rehydration clause just as Delahoya was as well with a rehydration Clause, and manny even outweighed delahoya!!!!!

          SIMPLY PUT IT'S CAREFUL MATCHMAKING.

If Floyd had told Cotto he can only fight at a catchweight he would have been crucified, and rightfully so... because more is expected from Floyd than Manny....

We have seen manny not being able to cut the ring off. That Cotto last night would have been too big and strong for manny.... That cotto would have put marquez into retirement......

I thought he looked better than in the Ortiz fight, probably because you fight Southpaws differently, and he opened up far more on Cotto than with Ortiz.

It was a 9lb difference for Cotto and since you're keeping track, there was a 7.5lb difference for Marquez when he jumped up in weight to fight Floyd. You act as if Floyd fought Marquez at his natural weight but he didn't, Marquez went out of his division just like Hatton had to in order to fight Floyd.

How did you score it? You're unbiased Floyd fan. I had it 116-112 and was on the fence about the 11th, because of low activity from both, but I gave it to Mayweather.

                      Here's how I saw it.

118-110 if you favored what Floyd did throughout.
117-111 if you were pretty even on what you thought both did.
116-112 if you favored what Cotto was doing.

Anything closer or wider is pretty absurd no doubt.

I had it 118-110 Floyd, could easily see 117-111, with 116-112 at the very very closest. Cotto won rounds 6 and 8 watching it live, could have won one of the other close couple rounds. But even in rounds with slower action, which was the case in those couple close rounds, it favors Floyd.
