Jason Velez needs to seriously step up in competition if he plans to take on Vazquez..Even thou Velez is 14-0-11KO's, he's had very soft opponents(Tomato cans) & his next opponent is another 1(Juan José Beltran who's record is 24-19-3-15KO's & out of those 19 defeats, he's been KO'd 12 times!) If Velez doesn't fight better opponents, he's never going to improve & will most likely(if he gets to fight Vazquez) get KO'd by Vazquez...Velez will be just an all hype challenger with a good record..

Outside the ring, Jayson is a real nice guy, but if he ever faces Papito, he's not going to win.

Jayson's not ready for Vazquez, although he has power, his defense is not great and has a bad habit of throwing wide punches.

He also likes to scrap without staying focused..those things combined will favor Vazquez in every sense.

I like Jayson (No ****)..But he's not ready for Papito..
