As long as Robert Guerrero fights like Steven Luevano and Sergio Mora. He'll never get a super fight. That fighting style is too boring.

I think Michael Katsidis would beat him though. Kevin Mitchell fights like that too. But Katsidis had the foot speed to catch up to Mitchell. I think he can do the same thing to Guerrero.

The only way any fighter makes a name for themselves is if the top names give them a chance. And seeing as how Robert has legitimately earned his position I don't see any reason as to why he should not be given the opportunity.

There are so many on this board who don't think that Juan will be competitive at 140 or 147 against larger foes, so who else should he face inside his weight class? Whether or not anyone truly thinks Guerrero has a chance, he's a young talent good enough to be his mandatory, so I think he has earned the shot.

guerrero is a big lightweight and could easily move up to 140-147 because of his body size, and we still say jmm wont be competitive in 140 when guerrero is a big lightweight and Jmm will school him? bradley is marquez's size just a little more muscular but every black person is naturally muscular, everyone else has to work for their ****. your so ****** when you say that marquez is too small for 140 i wish i could b*tch slap everyone who says that.

I would call Guererro's jab a pretty impressive weapon and even coming up he is still fairly tall with good reach for a light weight, if he can use the jab well he should be able to give JMM fits with that.

He would have to do more than jab to beat JMM though but that is a really good place to start.

Yeah i think people are under rating guerrero. He is a big light weight with heavy hands but not one punch ko power. Throws his jab with bad intention and combos. I think he beats most of the light weights and gives marquez hell.

obviously marquez is trying to earn the most money he can by getting some big fights namely pacquiao. but i dont blame him he deserves it and i doubt he is intimidated by guerrero. i think that would be a easy fight for him and marquez knows thats a fight that will not make him a whole lot.

Guerrero would lose to Katsidis in my opinion. JMM is chasing bigger and better things.
