bradley will likely go with top rank only to get dibs on the big fish (manny) but he has plenty of options with golden boy: khan, ortiz, and marquez. probably easier to make the fight happen with mayweather as well. i would like to see him fight khan next then make his decision

Of course he shall go where the money is at. More than likely GB. He might not bring in money NOW but rarely do fighters do so at this particular point in their career, if he keeps winning it can happen for sure.

          what?

Shaw is a horrible promoter. alexander/bradley at the silverdome was horrible. the promotion for that fight was horrible.

the only good thing shaw did was milk more money from the owner of the silverdome and HBO than the fight deserved.
          ----------------------------------------------------------------------

He is not a horrible promoter. As I have stated, it is simply hard for him to compete with the big promotional companies such as TR or GB.
Shaw has never been afraid to put his fighters in tough fights.

Bradley, Kendal Holt, Vic Darchinan, Rafael Marquez, Antonio DeMarco. All have been in tough fights. Gary Shaw never overprotected his fighters like the other promoters, like Goosen with Williams and Dibella with Berto.

Yes, he's had a lot of good fighters, hasn't he? Not too many stars though. Seems he's more focused on squeezing every last nickel into his pocket.

Every promoter is trying to make money. They are not doing this for free after all.
And true he has not had a lot of superstars, but that is because the usually leave him for richer promoters as Bradley is probably going to do.

All I can say is as a fan, not a fighter, but a fan, you have to appreciate Gary's no bull****, or babysitting attitude. He puts his fighters in there no matter what.

only top rank (and at one time don king) creates superstars.... they are the only real promoters (along with main events) in the business, but king has fallen off.

shaw has never created a superstar. never.

the fact that shaw's boxers have been in entertaining fights has more to do with HBO and SHOwtime programming and opponent selection than anything Shaw has done.

SHAW IS NOTHING BUT A GLORIFIED BOOKING AGENT.

Top Rank creates superstars because it protects its fighters. i.e Lopez and Gamboa.
As I stated as a fighter I would sign with TR or GB, because of the money they would bring, but as a fight fan, which is what we all are here, I like Gary Shaw.

And as far as HBO telling him that, who cares. I just want to see great fights.

Shaw is the biggest joke promoter in the sport. Watching him at press conferences with a old dirty shirt and pants which makes his belly look huge. Hes the fattest person in boxing. He doesnt understand first impressions. All the top promoters wear suits and dress shirts. It shows that you mean business. Gary dresses like he just rolled out of bed.

Bradley will never be a superstar anyways. Hes a boring fighter with no power. People dont wanna pay to see a fighter headbutt another fighter into submission.
