eh, hes not bad. his fighters seem more well conditioned than skilled to me, most the time. and he also picking up a lot of natural talent...guys that already are physically gifted to begin with.
hes a very good trainer in terms of teaching his fighters the basics. which fits for a lot of fighters. he does a good job, although I think a fair amount of credit is due to his conditioning coach as well.

I personally think Arcel and Futch top him though, in terms of taking raw guys and transforming them into unique, multidimensional skilled fighters.
I think Roach himself calls Futch the best trainer of all time.

roach feeds the BWAA with a lot of bullsh@t on a daily basis keeping them sweet so of course they feel obliged to sway their vote. hes more a fitness trainer, pacs been with him 7/8 years and still pacs defence is pathetic, but his stamina has gotten unbelievably better. if roach is so good, why does he have 13 losses on his own boxing record?
