The quality of American boxing vs. what goes on in Europe is mind boggling.

Andre Berto is a coward for fighting Collazo, Quintana, and now maybe Victor Ortiz.

Dejan Zaveck holds a legitimate belt and he fights Rodolfo Ezeqiuel Martinez and Paul Delgado.

    Europe has no standards.

None of the American welterweights have the courage go to Slovenia to fight Zaveck. They like their American home referees who permit them to headbutt and hit while holding, and their American home judges to give them undeserved wins on the scorecards.

Jan Zaveck is more of a warrior than any American welterweight. He wasn't afraid to go to Africa where he won the title with an impressive KO.

what absolute twaddle and just goes to show how detached from the sport the eastern european fans are....thats the result of being spoon fed propaganda like 'the klitschko's are good for the sport' ...little country like slovenia gets a paper champ and does all it can to hold on for dear life including fighting absolute nobodies that the sanctioning body doesnt even rate....if zaveck is so good get in a UK ring with kell brook!!

Zaveck has already fought and beaten Isaac Hlatsblahblah and Rafael Jackiewiez, both of which were top fighters when he beat them. =better than Berto.

Although Im not exactly thrilled about this title defense either. Wish he would be fighting someone better.
but at least hes beaten two top opponents.

Quintana was not a top guy when Berto fought him, he had been on vacation for forever.
