    April 16th – Get off Khan’s back!

What, you really think his team/promoters going to pick a dangerous live opponent? Come on lads, this is boxing. This date is a payday, a tune up for a unification fight with Bradley. Surely you know the boxing game by now? No promoter in his right mind would put Khan in against a genuine threat on this date.

It’s a homecoming fight, a payday, a tune up. Was ALWAYS going to be this way. But you know we’ll all watch it!

Just let this one pan out however it does, it really is a meaningless fight. That’s just boxing. I genuinely don’t understand why people act so surprised when big-name boxers pick easy fights along the way in their career. It’s always happened, always will, don’t you know that by now?!

    I don't consider a fight against Peterson/Katsidis/Prescott a tune-up.

If Amir fights a Murray/Witter next, then you can call it a tune-up.

      You completely miss-understand my point.

He WILL fight a Witter-type-opponent next, because he WILL have this fight as a tune up. It’s called business.

Forget about Prescott, Katsidis and the like, never, ever going to happen on 16th April.

I agree. After the Maidana war, Khan will do a tune-up. No biggie if he fights Bradley afterwards

This is the most ******est thing I've heard all day.

Don't the fighters in the Super Six have back to back competive fights.

Hasn't Bradley fought back to back competitive fights for the past few years?

Why should Khan be an exception?

I can see your point there mate, but I am with the OP, Khan has taken 2 fights on foreign soil, the last being an absolute war, he is more than entitled to a home coming of moderate difficulty.

It's not like he is continually doing it like Haye. If it is a tune up fight in the build up to fighting Bradley in a unification bout I say fair play to him.

It would be good if more super six tournaments could be made at diff weight categories though, then the best vs the best would be more of an occurance. But as Khan has no obligation to fight anyone in particular he shouldn't be criticised too much over his next oponent.

I agree with that but Khans opponent should be atleast credible for a tune up fight, The reason being an overly easy opponent like John Murray who has no chance against Khan would be detrimental to Khan further down the stretch when he goes against Bradley, Better to get someone decent and get a decent fight and work on some issues to get them hammered out in time for Bradley fight.

That being said Khan will fight serious opponents in the US, And domestic/eurobums in the UK because the UK will watch any fight with Khan in it regardless of who the opponent actually is.

                This isn't the Super Six.

Why was he not allowed a pop at the IBF? Who has Judah beaten over the last two years to deserve a title shot?
