What's up with Valuev?

He's been focusing on his music career.

He's still recovering from surgery, and has stated he is unsure if hes interested in returning to the ring. I dont think he will return for a fight unless he gets the 2million he wanted to fight Vitali.

thanks man, sure would be nice to see him vs Klitschko. would rather see him against Wlad though as he is the harder puncher. would be funny to see Valuev get knocked out. (i have nothing against him, just saying a man that big going down must be something to see)

Hell, I'd rather see Valuev's giant ass then any of the names i've been reading that are fighting a Klitschko....At least it'd be entertaining to watch the jab fest.

You mean Valuev agreed to fight Vitali or is this just a pricing out ?

Fell apart over money. K2 offered Valuev 2.5 million bucks for an arena fight a while back, and when negotiations restarted for them to fight last near Nikolai and Don King still demanded the 2.5 million. Vitali was only willing to offer a little over a million bucks because Nikolai no longer had a title, but Valuev countered that a fight between the two of them in particular would be a big big deal in Germany and he deserved more than 2million.

Negotiations stalled there and nothings become of it since.

What's up with Valuev?
