no dumbass, your "humble" Pacquiao was bashed because he refused to give Morales any credit for beating him and claimed he lost because of "clitoris gloves". Team Pacquiao waited 1 year after this fight to rematch a drained and shot Morales coming off a lopsided decision loss to Zahir Raheem. Who they declined to fight.........

The decision to have an interim fight made before the rematch was decided by Morales own promoter Arum. To stage a double header fight was the decision of the Morales camp.. Morales was drained but so was Pac. And Morales was a 2 to 1 favorite leading to the rematch even after losing to Raheem who was a stylistically a disadvantage for Morales.

If you want to talk about the Fab 4, then this fight is comparable to Duran-Leonard III and Leonard-Hearns II.. Its a fight that is 3-4 years past its due. Irregardless its a fight that boxing fans can still appreciate however it doesnt make Marquez get any closer to to third fight with Pac.

This fight could be significant is if Morales somehow pull of an upset But a win here by JMM doesnt do him any good to his resume.

That's because b!tch ass JuanMa didn't want to give Erik a chance at the fourth title. Honestly, though, it's going to backfire on him. If 140 lbs. benefits somebody, it will be Erik... I really like JMM but I love Erik "El Grande' Morales!

Real reason why this fight is happening is marquez is trying to cash out as many easy fights as he possibly can before fighting a elite fighter at 140,135, & 147. Nothing wrong with that. Marquez spent a lot of time in the background when the other big 3 where making money with each other.
No the real reason this fight is happening is bc punk ass pac turned down the trilogy. he was ready willing to fight pac on his terms but didnt get it. This is his first true soft touch since he moved up to light weight. Its a better match up then marquez vs guerrero the only other option at lightweight bc of the top rank golden boy feud. And a good way to test himself at 140 and how he feels with the extra weight without risking a lot.

makes more sense.. this should be @135 where JMM have belts. atleast it would boost terrible's motivation to be the first mexican to win 4 weight titles..

How the hell do you criticize Pac for fighting Clottey, Marg, and Mosley. And not criticize JMM in fighting Katsidis, Diaz (again), and now Morales.

Pac won twice already against JMM and is ready to win a third fight but the Mexican fighter out price himself again. Let's face it, he is quick to jump weight to face Manny(for the MONEY) but not willing to face any real contender at 140. If he really think he can win against Manny he should accepted any amount offered but ask for a rematch clause if he wins. From there he can dictate his price in the rematch.

I agree with that. But these Pacquiao fans who bash JMM for fighting Morales have room to do it because there are better fights out there for JMM to take than that. JMM would be making a mockery out of his career if he beat Morales and then decided that was his fourth title and then not go after Khan or Bradley. He needs to beat one of those guys if people expect him to be considered a four division champ. This diamond belt shit is just a fucking joke even though I will concede that Pacquiao helped create it.

You'd have to favor Khan and Bradley over JMM at this point more than likely. But even so, what the hell has he got to lose by fighting one of those guys? He's 37 years old and he'll get paid well for either fight more than likely. Hopefully he would anyway.
