    Say what you want about paulie but he has mad heart. He took a 12 round beating from cotto and didn't quit. He wanted to keep going against khan but the ref stopped it.

    Italians are the toughest white people. Calzaghe, marciano, willie pep etc we don't back down from nobody.

      ==================================
      after a mere 30secs, after they decided to stop the fight and go to the scorecards devon was able to open his eyes...he probably thought the fight was going to be ruled a no contest, much like kermit cintron thought when he jumped outta the ring against paulie williams seeking a no-contest....too bad they didn't know the rules....suckers!!!

        WAR PAULIE !!
        yes alexander learnt nothing from the kotelnik fight period!
        i give paulie a good chance to win a split decision against devon! but most likely he will get robbed! Paulie is a very good boxer and devon only can wish to have the heart and pride that paulie clearly has! never ever you gonna see paulie quit! He will still fight you back as hard as he can even if he has broken his hand

          Malignaggi has the heart of a lion.

          He wouldn't have found a way out in that fight.

            I hate to say it, but at best Alexander displayed a lack of experience in the Bradley fight, & at worse a weak heart. Honestly I think Alexander blew up too fast and too soon but still has great potential.

                he's proven himself on the big stage by fighting everyone, even when he's outsized, outclasses, and has no pop, he fights anyone. and never ever gives up. guys like him, cotto, bradley are what boxing needs more of.

                i was glad to see cunningham and alexander get smacked around a bit cuz they were acting like such punkasses. cunnigham has a little of that jack loew syndrome where he thinks no one can do anything with his gameplans so he never has to adjust them or give any real advice.
                I agree, he's got a future in boxing after his career as a fighter is over. I heard him talking about Cotto after the fight and he had nothing but good things to say about him and his style. I like that he's not constantly bidding for his next fight. In this case I think he may be doing just that.

                However I think may be able to outpoint Devon....

                      My EYE!

                      Give me a break...I almost believed that he couln't open his eyes. As soon as the fight was called, he seemed to really be acting that he couldn't open his eyes...he was fine!!! This reminded me of the Abraham vs. Dirrell fight when Dirrell fuc*ing quit like a bi*ch. What is w/ these guys...you work your entire career to get a MEGA fight like this and you quit?
